A local topographical album of Arbroath (Aberbrothock) on the Angus coast, gathering John Adam's "Round O" etchings reduced to miniature with descriptive notes by George Hay, printed by T. Buncle in 1886 for townspeople and antiquarians. The 124 plates are sparse line etchings of village streets, harbour walls, farm cottages, churches and empty shorelines, with wide blank skies built from thin horizontal hatching and small figures used for scale — useful for airy line textures, vernacular building profiles and dated captioned vignettes.
