The Scenery of the Dee, with pen and pencil. Illustrated by A. Gibb ..., further illustrated and described by J. M. H
A topographical tour of Scotland's River Dee valley, drawn by Andrew Gibb and written and further illustrated by J. Marley Hay, published by Gibb & Hay in 1884 for Victorian travellers and local readers. The plates and in-text vignettes are fine-line etchings of lochs, glens, granite villages, bridges and wooded streams, with wide empty skies and small figures, useful for landscape borders, vignette headpieces and stipple-textured hill and water backgrounds.
