The English Works of Thomas Hobbes, now first collected and edited by Sir W. Molesworth
A collected edition of Thomas Hobbes's English writings, edited by Sir William Molesworth and published in London from 1839 for scholars of philosophy and mathematics. The plates are geometric figures — lettered squares, quadrants, arcs and radiating construction lines, some printed white on solid dark grounds, others in fine line on open pages — useful as diagram motifs and grid patterns.
