An album of 88 lithographic views of the Galician countryside drawn by Maciej Bogusz Stęczyński with descriptive text by Kajetan Jabłoński, published in 1847 for Polish readers in the Austrian province of Galicia. The plates are wide topographical landscapes printed sideways on the page — wooded river valleys, Carpathian ridges, hillside castle ruins and small towns, framed by foreground trees and branches, with Polish captions and credit lines set in thin letterspaced capitals beneath.
