A Woman's Word. [A tale
A short novel by Dora M. Jones, published by Oliphant & Co. in 1892 for a general British fiction readership. The fourteen plates are sparse pen-and-ink landscapes — moored sailing boats, estuary shorelines, a field gate and hedgerow — drawn in open hatching with wide blank paper, several set in narrow horizontal panel frames usable as headpieces, rules or chapter dividers.
