О племенахъ земнаго шара. Съ рисунками
A Russian popular ethnography of 1863, О племенахъ земнаго шара (On the Peoples of the Globe), issued with illustrations for general readers curious about the world's peoples. The 72 wood-engraved plates are full-length figure studies with Cyrillic captions naming type and rank, each set on a bare ground: useful for costume silhouettes, striped and fur-trimmed garment patterning, headwear, and cross-hatched tonal shading.
