A travel narrative of a walking tour through the Vosges by Katherine Lee Jenner, published in London by Bentley & Son in 1883 for British readers of continental travel accounts. The plates here are engraved chapter headpieces and tailpieces in fine line: symmetrical scrollwork with grapes, leaves and shells, and a horned, bat-eared mask flanked by acanthus volutes, all usable as rules, dividers and spot ornament at small sizes.
