Thrilling Life Stories for the Masses
A cheap 1892 London anthology of popular serial fiction issued by the Thrilling Stories' Committee for a mass readership, its pages printed in double columns with captioned line cuts. The drawings are loose pen-and-ink scenes of courtship, family sickbeds and outdoor meetings, with hatched backgrounds and figures in 1890s dress, useful for period costume, gesture and captioned vignette layouts.
