Self and Self-sacrifice, or Nelly's Story
A Victorian moral tale for young readers, published in 1870 under the pseudonym Anna Lisle by Annabella Crawford and held by the British Library. The plates are all chapter headpieces: a symmetrical scrolling vine with rosette corner blocks framing a Roman numeral, useful as line-art rules, corner units, and numbering devices.
