Minutes of the proceedings of the Court of Common Council, 1823(-1845)
Official printed minutes of the City of London's Court of Common Council, issued in London by Thomas Henry Coe from 1823 to 1845 for aldermen, councilmen and civic officers. The plates are repeated wood-engraved impressions of the City arms — cross and sword shield beneath a crown, flanked by winged dragon supporters holding a scrolled ribbon lettered DOMINE DIRIGE NOS — useful as a crest, a heraldic supporter pair, or a banner template, with variant inking and line weights to compare.
