Minutes of the proceedings of the Court of Common Council, 1823(-1845)
Official printed minutes of the City of London's Court of Common Council, issued in London by Thomas Henry Coe from 1823 onward for the Corporation's members and officers. The plates are repeated small letterpress cuts of the City arms — shield with cross and sword, plumed helm, winged dragon supporters, and a ribbon reading DOMINE DIRIGE NOS — offering a heraldic device in several sizes and inking weights, useful as a crest, seal, or banner ornament.
