Minutes of the proceedings of the Court of Common Council, 1823(-1845)
Printed minutes of the City of London's Court of Common Council, issued in London by Thomas Henry Coe from 1823 onward for aldermen, councilmen and civic officers. The plates are repeated wood-engraved impressions of the City arms: two winged dragon supporters flanking a shield with the cross of St George and a sword, a mural crown above and a ribbon reading DOMINE DIRIGE NOS, useful as heraldic line stock, mastheads and small letterpress ornaments in varying degrees of inking and wear.
