A short museum handbook by Lazarus Fletcher, mineralogist at the British Museum (Natural History), published in London in 1897 to guide visitors through the Mineral Gallery. The figures are outline line engravings of crystal forms — cubes, octahedra, rhombic dodecahedra — with dotted hidden edges and stepped stacks of small cubes showing how faces build up, usable as geometric diagram stock.
