Geraldine's Husband. [A novel
A Victorian three-volume novel by Mary Macleod, issued in London in 1888 for the circulating-library readership. Its only pictures are small line-engraved chapter ornaments: a symmetrical pair of long-tailed birds flanking a palmette among rose vines, and a classical female mask set between acanthus scrolls and stippled panels — usable as headpieces, tailpieces, dividers, or monogram frames.
