A travel memoir of a winter spent in Cyprus, written by the English author and critic W. H. Mallock and issued in a third edition by Richard Bentley & Son of London in 1892 for British general readers. The plates here are printers' ornaments rather than views: line-engraved headpieces and tailpieces of acanthus scrollwork, grape clusters and a horned, bat-winged mask, usable as symmetrical spacers, triangular chapter finials and border stock.
