A Tract on Crystallography
A Cambridge textbook on crystallography by William Hallowes Miller, originator of Miller indices, published by Deighton, Bell & Co. in 1863 for university students of mineralogy and mathematics. The 56 plates are fine-line wood-engraved geometry: spherical triangles with lettered vertices, arcs projected on the sphere, and radiating angle diagrams, useful as sparse linear motifs, lettered vertex points, and curved-edge triangle shapes.
