Seaforth. [A novel
A three-volume Victorian novel by Florence Montgomery, issued in London by Richard Bentley and Son in 1879 for the circulating-library readership. The plates here are small line-engraved vignettes: heraldic crests of beasts set in stippled roundels with scrolled and masked brackets, a belted motto ring lettered FIDE ET FIDUCIA around an entwined monogram, and a sprig of lily of the valley, all usable as chapter ornaments, badges or monogram frames.
