The History of Tooting-Graveney, Surrey. Compiled from original documents
A parish history of Tooting-Graveney in Surrey, compiled from original documents by William Edward Morden and published in London by E. Seale in 1897 for local residents and antiquarians. The plates are light pen-and-ink line drawings of village buildings — a rectory, a chapel, thatched cottages, a broadway with figures and carts — with open white skies and hatched shading, useful as sparse architectural vignettes, roofline silhouettes and small-scale street furniture.
