Some account of the Worshipful Company of Ironmongers. Compiled from their own Records and other authentic sources of information, by J. N
A history of the London Ironmongers' Company compiled by John Nicholl from the guild's own records and printed in London in 1851 for members and antiquarians. The plates are outline-engraved armorial shields — ermine fields, escallops, chevrons, lions' heads erased, crosses and roundels — drawn in thin line without shading, useful as crisp heraldic charges and quarterings for monograms and crests.
