Some account of the Worshipful Company of Ironmongers. Compiled from their own Records and other authentic sources of information, by J. N
A privately printed history of the London Ironmongers' Company, compiled by the antiquary John Nicholl from the guild's own records and issued in 1866 for members and antiquarian readers. The plates are line-engraved coats of arms of officers and benefactors—quartered shields with ermine spots, scallops, lion heads, wavy bars and lattice fretwork—usable as crisp heraldic motifs, seals and framing devices.
