Les Environs de l'Ille-Barbe ... Avec ... planches, etc
A local history of the Île Barbe district north of Lyon by Léopold Niepce, published in 1892 for French antiquarians and regional historians. The plates are small line-drawn coats of arms set into the text columns, each a plain shield outline filled with towers, rampant lions, chevrons, lozenges and trefoils, usable as compact heraldic spot art, monogram frames or badge silhouettes.
