Art and Nature Sonnets. [With illustrations
A collection of sonnets by Francis P. B. Osmaston, published in London in 1911 for readers of verse, printed with Arts and Crafts decoration in the manner of the private-press revival. The pictures are pen-drawn ornaments: square foliate initials built around a flat rose, and horizontal headpieces in which a title panel of spaced capitals sits above trellised stems, leaves, acorns and hanging heart-shaped buds templates for lettered banner headings, blackletter-weight vine borders and drop caps.
