The Kymry, their origin, history, and international relations
A late-Victorian antiquarian history of the Welsh people, written by Robert Owen, B.D., and printed by W. Spurrell and Son at Carmarthen in 1891 for readers of Celtic origins and national history. The plates here are engraved chapter ornaments: symmetrical scroll-and-acanthus tailpieces, a fluted urn flanked by volutes and tulip-like buds, and an oval cartouche with two perched birds on a hatched ground, all in fine open line suited to enlargement as rules, dividers and frames.
