The Perlustration of Great Yarmouth, with Gorleston and Southtown
A three-volume antiquarian topography of Great Yarmouth, Gorleston and Southtown, written by local historian Charles John Palmer and published in 1872 for Norfolk subscribers and genealogists. Its plates are line-drawn heraldry set into the text pages: plain shields with chevrons, lions, mullets and lozenges, plus fuller achievements with mantling, crests and dated cartouches, useful as crisp outline stock for monograms and crests.
