A 19th-century reprint (Paris, 1883, edited by Anatole de Montaiglon) of the 1716 Paris guidebook Les Curiositez de Paris, attributed to Claude Marin Saugrain and aimed at visitors and antiquarians. The plates are small line-engraved elevations of churches, hôtels and palaces, drawn frontally with hatched roofs and shadows, offering ready-made classical facades, pediments, domes and gated forecourts.
