A Spanish-language geography of Peru, left unfinished by Mateo Paz Soldán and corrected and enlarged by his brother Mariano Felipe Paz Soldán, issued in 1862 for schools and general readers as a compendium of mathematical, physical and political geography. The plates are thin-line woodcut diagrams — circles quartered by axes, ellipses with focal rays, celestial spheres with equator and declination arcs — lettered in small italic capitals against cream paper, useful as spare geometric line art and astronomical schematics.
