The Voyages and Travels of Capt. Cook, Mungo Park, La Perouse, and others; ... with a ... geographical description of the World. Embellished with ... engravings and maps. (The World or the present state of the Universe. ... Vol. II.)
A two-volume London compilation of 1808, in which Cavendish Pelham retold the voyages of Cook, Mungo Park and La Pérouse alongside a geographical survey of the world for general readers. The plates are small captioned copperplate engravings on tinted mounts: costume groups of islanders, hill-town and harbour prospects, Venetian and Roman architecture, and maps, useful as compact vignettes with cloud-filled skies and ruled borders.
