A subscription county history of Bond and Montgomery Counties, Illinois, edited by William Henry Perrin and published by Baskin & Co. in 1882 for local landowners and businessmen who paid to appear in it. The plates are stipple-engraved bust portraits of bearded men in frock coats, each framed by a ruled border above an engraved signature, interspersed with pen-drawn tailpieces of scrollwork, urns and cherub heads.
