A subscription county history of four Kentucky counties, compiled by Robert Peter and edited by William Henry Perrin for Baskin & Co. of Chicago in 1882, sold to the local subscribers whose portraits and farms fill it. The plates are lithographed bust portraits of bearded men in oval frames with engraved corner scrollwork and facsimile signatures, plus tinted views of courthouses and farmsteads drawn in low, wide perspective.
