A subscription county history of Crawford County, Ohio, compiled by William Henry Perrin, J. H. Battle and W. A. Goodspeed and issued by Baskin & Battey in 1881 for local subscribers whose portraits paid for the plates. The 52 plates are stipple-engraved bust portraits of bearded and clean-shaven men in dark coats, each set on blank ground above an engraved signature.
