Poems, amorous, moral and divine
A 1718 London-printed collection of amorous, moral and divine verse, issued for general readers of English poetry and held by the British Library. The 26 pictures are letterpress ornaments repeated through the text: symmetrical acanthus scrolls flanking a crowned urn hung with fruit swags, and a sunburst with Apollo's horse-drawn chariot, usable as tailpieces, dividers and frame corners.
