The 115 plates are small tonal wood engravings of imperial palaces, suburban villas and estate grounds, each captioned in Cyrillic, with skies worked in fine horizontal line, foreground trees and tiny strolling figures giving scale; useful for architectural elevations, engraved foliage textures and period caption typography.
