A volume of devotional verse by G. Racehl, issued in 1899 and held in the British Library's printed books collection. The plates are repeated pen-and-ink head- and tailpieces: symmetrical cartouches built from acanthus scrolls, shells and strapwork around a crowned female bust or half-figure, ending in a pendant drop, useful as ready-made rules, spacers and chapter ornaments.
