Raymond's Heroine. [A novel. By Isabella Harwood
A Victorian novel by Isabella Harwood, issued in London in 1867 for the circulating-library trade, its text broken up by small engraved decorations rather than narrative plates. The pictures are fine-line vignettes of flowering sprays — wild geranium trails, borage, bindweed — plus a symmetrical foliate scroll cartouche, all printed as headpieces and tailpieces and usable as spot ornaments, rules and page-break marks.
