A collection of verse by Frederick Bolingbroke Ribbans, issued in London by T. Medhurst in 1868 for the general reading public. The plates are all one repeated wood-engraved printer's ornament: a square-in-diamond lattice with a concentric central boss and four splayed acanthus leaves, drawn in fine hatched line, useful as a section break, colophon mark or tiling motif.
