Melita: a Turkish love story
A short Turkish love story by Louise Marie Richter, issued in London by T. Fisher Unwin in 1886 for English readers of romantic fiction. The two plates are printer's ornament rather than narrative illustration: a line-engraved device of a tree hung with ribbon scrolls and a shield lettered T F U, and a black-ground foliate initial letter set into the opening page of text.
