Armand de l'Isle. [A novel
A three-volume-style Victorian novel, Armand de l'Isle, by A. M. Rose, issued in London by Eden, Remington & Co. in 1893 for the circulating-library reading public. The eleven pictures are small wood-engraved chapter ornaments: single roses, wild briar blossoms, symmetrical flower-and-leaf clusters, and a crescent crossed by a sheaf, useful as spot decorations, tailpieces, or spare botanical motifs.
