The Metallurgy of Gold, etc
A technical manual on gold metallurgy by Thomas Kirke Rose, issued in London by Charles Griffin & Co. in 1894 for assayers, mining engineers and mill operators. The 61 wood-engraved figures show ore-crushing mills, amalgamating pans, settling boxes and pipework in labelled elevation and section, with stippled shading for liquid levels and machine frames; useful for industrial cutaway diagrams, arrow-annotated flow schematics and lettered mechanical keys.
