A technical manual on gold extraction by Thomas Kirke Rose, published in London by Charles Griffin & Co. in 1896 as a second edition for metallurgists, assayers and mining engineers. The 69 figures are line engravings of amalgamating pans, stamp batteries, leaching vats and chlorination plant, shown in section and elevation with letter keys and scale bars usable as diagram fragments.
