A three-volume Victorian novel by John Saunders, published in London in 1879 for circulating-library readers. The nine pictures are small printer's ornaments in black line: rosettes, tailpieces and headbands built from holly, ivy, clover, thistle and rose stems, useful as section breaks, spot motifs or borders at small sizes.
