A verse guide to the Yorkshire spa town of Scarborough, written by J. B. Papworth, Francis Wrangham and William Combe and published by Rudolph Ackermann in London in 1813 for genteel visitors and season-goers. Twenty-one hand-coloured etchings by Thomas Rowlandson after J. Green show crowds on terraces, spa steps and theatre boxes — useful for Regency dress, parasols, small dogs and seaside cliff backdrops.
