Aus Alt-Berlin. Stille Ecken und Winkel der Reichshauptstadt in kulturhistorischen Schilderungen, etc
A German cultural-history account of old Berlin's quiet corners, written by Oscar Schwebel and published in 1891 for readers of the imperial capital's local past. The 276 wood-engraved plates copy earlier sources: oval portraits in strapwork and baroque cartouche frames, lettered inscription rings, engraved title pages, and carved tomb monuments with heraldic shields — useful for frames, borders, and coats of arms.
