A Spanish picturesque survey of monuments, art and regional customs, issued in Madrid in 1843 with captioned lithographic plates for domestic readers of illustrated topography. The plates are tonal lithographs: church towers and ornate carved interiors seen in steep perspective, plus paired standing figures in Maltese and Templar habits and regional dress, many printed sideways on the page with Spanish captions.
