Seonee, or, camp life on the Satpura Range ... Illustrated by the author, etc
A hunting and natural-history tale of central India, written and illustrated by Robert Armitage Sterndale and published by Thacker, Spink & Co. in 1887 for British readers in India and at home. Wood-engraved chapter headpieces and plates show tigers, leopards, gaur and antelope in scrub and moonlit river country, many as vignettes whose foliage edges dissolve into the text block, useful for irregular-edged animal spots and header ornaments.
