Supplementary plates and tables
A folio of supplementary engraved plates and tables issued in 1825 with a continental engineering annual (plate headings read "Neue Cont. Annalen XVIII"), made for millwrights and hydraulic engineers. The plates are fine-line geometric drawings of water wheels in section — concentric rims, radial bucket partitions, sluices and flowing water, angle and scale rulings — useful as sparse linework, circle constructions and technical diagram furniture.
