Precious Stones and Gems ... Third edition
Edwin William Streeter, a Bond Street jeweller, wrote this 1882 third edition handbook on precious stones for London buyers, collectors and the trade, published by G. Bell & Sons. The plates run to repeated wood-engraved chapter ornaments: a bearded grotesque mask on cross-hatched ground inside a stepped rectangular frame with acanthus scrolls, usable as headpieces, rules and small stock decoration.
