The Yorkshire Lias. [With illustrations and a map
A stratigraphic monograph on the Lower Jurassic Lias beds of Yorkshire, written by Ralph Tate and John Frederick Blake and published in London in 1876 for geologists and fossil collectors. The plates are lithographed fossil studies drawn in fine stipple and line, with numbered specimens floated on blank grounds: coiled ammonites, marine reptile skulls and vertebrae, belemnites, shells and minute foraminifera, useful as isolated cut-out forms or specimen-chart layouts.
