The Oxford Thackeray is George Saintsbury's edited collected edition of William Makepeace Thackeray's novels and essays, issued by Oxford University Press around 1908 for general and student readers, reprinting the author's own pen sketches. The drawings are loose line vignettes and decorated initials set into the text: crowded ballrooms and dinner tables, caricatured faces under top hats, courting couples, shepherdess costumes and small cupids.
