Time's Footsteps. A record of red letter days and events. [Illustrated
A keepsake album of 1890 for recording birthdays, anniversaries and other "red letter days," printed in London with ruled blank pages for the owner's own entries. The plates are outline pen drawings of trailing stems, tendrils and small flowers arranged as open three- and four-sided frames around empty space, with occasional handwritten mottoes, giving designers ready-made asymmetric botanical borders, corner sprays and hairline rules for certificates, menus and title pages.
