The Diamond Rose: a life of love and duty
A Victorian novel of love and duty by Henrietta Keddie, writing as Sarah Tytler, issued in London by Ward, Lock & Co. in 1890 for the general circulating-library reader. The plates here are printer's ornaments rather than scenes: symmetrical tailpieces of strapwork cartouches, acanthus scrolls, hanging flower swags and a small cherub mask, usable as rules, dividers and spot decoration.
